Yeah, Miami used to have a CRAZY number of pirate stations owned by people of color (most of them playing dancehall, but there were some awesome electro options.)

I picture this being really popular among immigrants, people who do not speak english, there are all sorts of community needs that would be served here.

And fuck, I haven't owned a radio in forever, but a local electro station to be my personal Pandora? More Hollow Earth Radio-style stations?

Geez, I'd excitedly BUY a radio if more public radio options like this were enabled.
