They've been doing all these clean ups here on Kent East Hill for the new "Revitalization Project"...and while, I applaud the effort, I keep thinking..don't we pay people to keep these areas -- parks, streets -- clean? I also wonder where it comes from, since, ever since, oh, 1987, I have never seen a person willfully toss a paper wrapper on the ground.

I do notice that a lot of times, there are dumpsters that are above the fill line, and which, when loaded or transported by truck, leave a trail of loose debris like bottles, boxes, ...

Am I supposed to clean that up?

1 seagull + 1 plastic bag = 1 less seagull and 1 less plastic bag.

Sounds like a perfect win win situation.

Nature truly is a beautiful and miraculous machine!

Deepest thanks and bravo to this wonderful effort to keep the supreme natural beauty of this area in order, but know what I really want to do? I want to catch the people who drop styrofoam, plastic, and the rest of the unholy detritus there, and pop the holy shit out of them.

Please wait...
