Growing up LGBT in small town/rural Indiana is a rough mission. Republican, bible thumping and always in a mad rush to maintain the title of Mississippi of the Midwest. Every once in a while there is something that makes me almost proud to be a Hoosier, even though I fled the state a few years ago. I am holding my breath to see what happens to this brave teacher who posted this great video in support of LGBT kids. Rest assured that there will be a backlash. I would be more than thrilled to be wrong,

Kwodell I'm an LGBT rural Indiana survivor as well, this brought tears to my eyes and am experiencing a rare moment of pride for my home state.

Mysterious indeed. Every day in every way we are winning and no one has the power or support to try to stop us.

Did you see this, Dan? 8 year old Frank is on our side and he's not afraid to ask the Scouts why they're discriminating. It's kids like Frank that they're really afraid of.

I'm sorry, but does the "including Diana 'My Gay Students Have No Purpose In Life' Medley" mean that Ms. Medley is one of the people who worked on this project in response to anti-gay bigots (which is how I initially read it) or that she is one of the anti-gay bigots who inspired the project?

For a second there I thought that Ms. Medley was out to prove that she wasn't so bad by not being so bad (best way to do it).

I think it's freedom that's working the magic here.
