I suggest KeePass, there's a version or compatible app for every platform. It generates strong passwords and stores them in a secure file. Keep the file in cloud storage so you have them everywhere.

You can get people's email addresses and passwords. If they've used the same password across multiple accounts (which many people do), criminals can then raid their bank accounts.
