You should scream PAUL Khan style.
2
PAAAAAAUUUUULLLLL!!!!!!! [shakes fist at sky]
3
From the depths of Star Trek V redone as Star Wars: The Squeakal, I scream at thee with a dinosaur cry, Paul!
4
@2, Kirk didn't shake his fist. He was holding a communicator and his entire body was trembling...amature.
5
Peter Jackson

"I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in joy and were suddenly all posting on facebook. I fear something terrible has happened.
7
"You're all clear kid, now let's blow this thing and go home!"

*fires torpedoes into J.J.Abrams' house*
8
So, is Abrams going to be running TWO directly competing movie franchises simultaneously? Or will this new deal with Disney essentially end his relationship with Trek & Paramount?
Because, if that's the case, I would really love to see Whedon take over the reins there - maybe we could finally get that TOS/X-Men crossover to see the light of day.
9
Blech. Brad bird.
10
Ready Player One will blow this shit out of the water.
11
Jim Jarmusch.
12
@8 Had Abrams done Star Trek right it wouldn't be a competing franchise, it would be complementary or at least different.
13
@11 I would watch the CRAP out of a Jim Jarmusch Star Wars!!!!
14
John Waters
15
George Lucas.

JUST KIDDING, haha.....

So when will Picard and Lando meet?
16
David Lynch.
17
This is perfect. Star Trek was wonderful; Super 8 was delightful. Maybe Whedon for Episode VIII and Brad Bird for Episode IX?
18
@13 word
19
The reanimated corpse of Douglas Sirk.
20
@11 Ooooo, John Lurie would be an amazing Chewbacca! I am so, so very sad now that I realize that this is a thing that will never, ever happen. Fuck you imagination!
21
Brad Bird is a good choice. I'd love to see what Duncan Jones could do with this.
22
It's Jon Favreau not John. At least that's who I assume you are talking about.
23
Julie Taymor
24
Harmony Korrine? (though I'd have to award John Waters as the winner here.)
25
Really, any of them will do a better job than Lucas. Episodes I, II, and III were unspeakably bad.
26
Todd Haynes!
27
Joss Whedon would have been a great director, he'll be able to get all 500,000 of his fans, who paid to see Serenity, to see this movie, his fan base is just incredible!

Please wait...
