Your link to the NYT article about Uganda/evangelicals is broken: it's got a stray "br" at the end.

Who could have seen this coming? A bidding war for a basketball team? Gosh, I wonder if Sacramento will sweeten the deal? And if they do, will Seattle feel that the time is right for us to offer a little more?

Because it would only be logical to think that if another town wants them that bad, it must be because having a team is worth it. That's how the market determines value, after all, and if our city government is in the market for a basketball team then those are the rules the market plays by.

It's no mystery why the taxpayer ends up taking it up the ass in these pro sports deals. This is how it is supposed to work.

Actually there is a single English word for walking along the water: beachcombing.

@4

beachcombing means walking along a beach looking for things, not just walking along water.

That Uganda video makes a good case for antitheism. Whether you're religious or not, you can't watch that video and not see the obvious brainwashing through religion during the last minute or so. Not if you're being honest with yourself.

Scurfing.

Just because you colonists in America don't know the words for walking along water, doesn't mean there isn't a number of perfectly good words for it.
