Goldy, what is the word on that question about procedure which suggests that Tom has to become Republican?

Only the Republican Coalition can meet the will of the vote.

So what is the procedure for filing recall election petitions against Tom and Sheldon ? Even if these are unsuccessful, it will create stress and distraction for both of them.

Yes, Goldy, we know. You lost. And now you get to whine for at least two years. This will be great fun. Now, I still believe the true professional whiners are wingnuts, but I'd remind everyone that the Olympics are for amateurs. I'm sure the "progressives" will do quite well in the whinefest to come.

By the way, the very best outcome would be for Tom to run next time as an independent. I think this would draw some other independents out of the woodwork, especially on the west side of the mountains away from Seattle. It's pretty obvious that the Democrats are a joke in state government, but that the Republicans can't be trusted.

So, an independent group that would keep both sides in line would be the best outcome. Oh, and Seattle whining "progressives," always remember that 64.5% of this state's voters, including majorities in every county including King, voted for Tim Eyman's I-1185. Yep, it chaps your liberal asses. Tough shit.

Something tells me that the Democrats of Medina are generally happy with the guy, regardless of what those "progressives" who packed the latest town hall meeting might imagine otherwise.
