Could this be an instance of sarcasm?
2
Yeah, I'm going with sarcasm too.
3
Oh please, I've been shocked, beaten, and dragged behind a truck by my wife dozens of times, and we have a great marriage.

In the sub headline of the linked to article:

"Jeanette Morris flew into a rage when she discovered her ex, Robert Hall, was staying at her home with another woman. Morris, her brother and another woman savagely beat Hall and then tied him to a drunk and dragged him for a half mile, cops say."

"tied him to a drunk and dragged him for a half mile"

Nothing worse than being tied to a drunk and dragged...

Classic!
5
@4: I beg to differ. It would be much, much worse if he'd been tied to a drunk and drug for a half mile.
6
@3 Lifetime GGG award for you!
7
If the government ever decided to start tracking the criminally insane, the comments sections of the New York Daily News would be the place to start compiling data.
8
If by "traditional marriage," people mean a one-on-one pairing sanctioned by law that promotes stable nuclear families, that is long-term, and that is based on love, loyalty and all those other great human and American values, then letting gays get married strengthens traditional marriage.
9
She looks like a lifetime of woe.
10
@9 or six months of meth.
11
Ms F - "All those other great human and American values?"

Please tell me you're not being an exceptionalist. We are so far behind so many countries/continents in that regard it's painful.

Ironically, from the same page, I see this story linked:

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/crime/mi…

Now *that's* a traditional marriage! Divorce is evil! Until death do us part, bitch!
13
I read it as sarcasm.
14
Definitely sarcasm. Bigots would never refer to it as "marriage equality".

And that woman is only 61? Yikes. My 92 year old grandmother looks better (way better).

Please wait...
