These are not "high end units", I can assure you, @1. The developers planned to turn the building's state that way, but it is very clearly not the reality on site. So, I don't know how your words relate to the situation at hand.

I'm associated with a not-for-profit tech/education space in the building but hadn't been involved in building issues. I'll check with our board to see what the details are; it sounds like a very typical tenant squeeze by investors.
