Two season saving drives by a rookie QB. It would be pretty difficult to match that excitement during the NHL regular season. And there was some good college hockey on NBC Sports this weekend with BU and BC splitting a home-and-home.

I don't think even the Cup playoffs would generate the same amount of hype as a regular season football game, NFL or even D-1 college, and I say that as a hockey fan.

The Pittsburgh Post Gazette reported yesterday that Sidney Crosby is in serious talks with a Swiss league to play over there. Apparently Russia (KHL) would've been too dangerous for him, as he's seen as a "target" by too many of those guys.

@11 and 13, I love hockey, but that was a pretty phenomenal game for the regular season. I wouldn't dare write I was posting about the Hawks/Bears game only b/c there's no hockey.

What Russell Wilson did is the stuff of legends, and I love watching him play almost as mush as watching Burrows bite Bruins baby fingers. If RW played for the Bears, Jets, Giants or Cowboys, ESPN would have specials dedicated to him. Since he's in Seattle, it'll take some Fox or ESPN 'expert' surprise picking the Hawks before RW gets some respect. ESPN and Fox show have so little respect for the game it makes it hard to watch.

With all that said, I could give two shits about NBA and MLB, and it's going to be a tough 4-5 months after March madness.
