Obama probably convinced her.

As Secretary of State she HAS no opinion other than that which is the policy of the Executive. That is the entire point of her job.

Lets see...marries a man solely to advance her own career.

Doesn't seem to mind any of his infidelities, in fact, allows them to continue even after being made aware of them.

Things that...

Hillary Clinton doesn't care much about gay marriage either way and neither does Obama. That's how it's always seemed to me. It's just not a driving passion for them, or at least important enough to risk political capital supporting it back when it was decidedly unpopular. (Obama only extended his support because Biden had already blurted it out. Biden probably cares more about this than Obama.)

At least it's better than having an axe to grind against gay rights.

Yeah, I thought she had done this years ago. It's about time.

I cut Hillary a *lot* of slack on this. ... The far bigger issue, as far as I'm concerned, is why so many people seem to mindlessly hate on Hillary - maybe they're one & the same Neanderthals who hate on Obama?

@1 Obama convinced the country. He's a leader to get behind and depend on for toughness on civil rights.

I believe Hillary Clinton is for marriage equality. I officially vocally endorsed her for President for 2016 this morning! Hillary 2016!!! :D
