I love that, at the Republican Convention, Romney mocked Obama for promising to "slow the rise of the oceans" and it will be that very issue which is blamed for Romney's own demise.
"Though I'm not sure if pegging Romney's defeat on an act of God will play with the Republican base the way they intend it to play."
Taking this at face value*, one must remember the incredible logical contortions the Republican base are capable of performing. The "act of God" was bringing a "real rain" to that liberal hellhole NYC; that evil Obama and his dimmycrat minions just took advantage. I'm sure there's some biblical parallel they'll cite.
* I read this as a facetious statement, but I feel the need to treat it straight.
In addition to the predictive polling favoring Obama and Inslee, this news made me smile: The Seattle Times has been knocked off the top 25 list of US dailies for circulation:
@1,
Yeah, but it's painfully obvious that republicans don't remember anything their candidate said or did longer than about 30 seconds ago. In other words... convention? What convention?
I've given up listening to any news channels (hardly watch much of any anyway) who keep saying that this presidential race is a tie/close tie. I've even been muting the BBC America news and CBC news when they mention a close race.
Jill Stein of the Green Party and Gary Johnson of the Libertarian Party will discuss issues ignored by Barack Obama and Mitt Romney!
Will either of these candidates achieve the 5% of the popular vote they need in order to receive matching federal funding and streamlined ballot access for the next election?

Wonder why?
I particularly like comparing McKenna to cancer...
