Where is New Sewickley Township??? Is it even legal to shoot skunks there? Was there a light involved? Night hunting is usually illegal. Many unresolved questions in this smelly affair...
2
I saw this browsing through the news and said to myself, the day shall not pass without a mudede musing on the topic.
3
It seems that being stupid is a strong defense in this country. Being stupid is not against the law but I'm starting to think it should be.
4
You can mistake a girl for a skunk when you look through the botom of a bottle.
5
Maybe Mudede should shed a few pounds from his fat ass so the urban homies don't confuse him with an escaped black bear from the zoo and open up with their AKs. Oh, that's right. Shootings only occur in rural areas amongst white people. My bad.

@1: To answer your first question, it's just north of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Now if you don't know where Pennsylvania is, please let us know and we'll be delighted to tell you.
7
Hey @5, you're a douche!
8
Skunk armies around the world, Beware! Our well-regulated militia gives no quarter!
9
She should have sprayed that asshole.

New Sewickley is in rural Pennsylvania. In lots of places, it's legal to shoot skunks on sight, as they are considered vermin. (It may not be wise, as they are likely to spray immediately, but whatever.) The article I read stated that alcohol was NOT involved.

This guy should absolutely be charged. He's a menace.

@5 It's weird that you will go so far with your bigotry and yet you won't use the racist un-PC terms.

I don't know why I just noticed this, but now that I have, I find it strange.
12
You know what they say about Pennsylvania: Outside the city limits of Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, it's Alabama.
13
You can't call that an accident. Discharging your firearm without positively identifying your target is criminal negligence. He should be charged.
14
@12: Ha! That's hard to believe.
15
@13 He won't be. There's a war on guns in this country. Wait... what?
16
@12, Really? Never heard that before. Always considered PA to be a reliably blue state.
17
@16,

Not really. Santorum represented Pennsylvania for one. And it seems difficult for a pro-choice Democratic Senator to get elected there. While PA mostly goes blue in presidential races, there's a reason why Republicans are trying to disenfranchise Pennsylvanian Democratic voters; the race is often close enough to steal.

Only a grade A moron would shoot a skunk near their house. Honestly they should take this guy's decision making permit away, no more guns, no more driving, no more shopping for himself.

While my "Alabama" crack was aimed at the hillbilly cracker redneck characteristic of the rural Pennsylvanian, it applies to their politics as well. PA has been a battleground state for a long time, and a quick look at their voting shows what I mean -- small (but populous) blue clusters at the end, a sea of red in-between. Not unlike Washington in this regard, though we don't have that other blue dot (sorry, Spokane).

Lookat this map: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Stat…

Google "Alabama in the middle" if you don't believe me. The comparison is attributed to James Carville.

Please wait...
