@7 Sadly, yes. It is sold in the U.S., or at least here in the Northeast. It's always been a bargain-basement brand. You can buy better, but not cheaper. I'm not a big fan of American-style fizzy light lagers, but this really isn't the worst of its type.
Like @6 pointed out - it can't be worse than the light lager "grasscutter beer" most people drink anyway. Which is basicly nothing, although Staropramen is pretty ok I guess... but personally I hardly ever drink beer so who am I to judge?
We are in the booze belt so its just recently that the idea that beer could come in varying qualities struck home here. I mean beyond old wisdoms/stupidities like "east german beer wont give you a hang over".
I haven't seen these commercials at all. Perhaps their aimed at the american market?
@10 Did we? I know that allot of greenpeace activists managed to break into one of the larger ones a week ago hiding from the cops in there for a few days and that there is an old one going up for sale in eastern Sweden (ever wanted to own your own nuclear facility? Now is the time! Never used! Radiation Free! http://www.dn.se/ekonomi/saljes-karnkraf… ). But I haven't heard about them stopping maintenance... you got a link/citation (would be worthy to spread on)?
Denver is one of the microbrew capitals of the world. It always amazes me when I travel to other places and find a selection of Bud, Coors and Miller in their bars. I can't believe people still drink that watered-down piss.
has to be a joke.
Also, it should be noted, a "cheap" beer in Sweden still costs about 8-9 USD at any bar. You take what you get.
Den här är min båt!
MMM. Radioactive beer!
It gives you extra eyes!
