Dead, not fallen.

If this country elects this snake, they will deserve what they get.

Ann Coulter on the way to Hannity's studio to make disparaging remarks about the mother's and sister's sex lives and maybe to call the SEAL a fag.
4
I am guessing there will be a couple thousand Florida Panhandle voters switching their votes after this imbroglio...

Romney just can't help himself, the self enforced errors will be his undoing in this election..

While a student at Stanford in the late-60s, Mitt Romney marched in favor of the Vietnam War, yet he never served in the military. And he has five fit-and-able sons who have never served in the military.

Apparently fighting and dying for your country is okay for "those people", but not the Romneys.
6
Romney's campaign has already said this morning that they're yanking the Doherty mention from his stump speech.
7
this is wrong.

on the other hand,
failing to provide enough security
and leaving Doherty out to dry
to die at the hands of a howling mob?

Obamariffic!

@5
Romney has already addressed that.
His sons "serve" by helping him get elected.
Because riding around the USofA in a bus is exactly like risking your life in another country.

Anyway, people should read the account of HOW Romney met that guy.
It's weird.
http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/polit…
Romney crashes someone else's party by mistake.
And he stays.
And he keeps introducing himself.
But he doesn't seem to stay in touch because he only realizes that the guy he knew was killed when the neighbor tells him about it.
9
Romney says he met him and admires his courage.
Obama gives a televised speech over his coffin in which he lies about how he was killed.
But Romney is exploiting him.
That is rich.
10
@8 - You made my day. To think he crashed someone's house uninvited (and then stayed) is pretty hilarious...
11
If dude didn't wanna become an Imperial Stormtrooper and be used as a propaganda prop, then why'd he sign up in the first place?
12
@11

That's not a particularly original thought. I call on you to change your monicker immediately.
13
@12, if you need that explained to you, you really need to pay attention to why we fight wars these days and why we never end those wars...the end is always just a couple of years away.

Oh, BTW we still have several thousand contracted soldiers in Iraq. You know, private mercenaries paid for by you the American Tax Payer. Remember that when we hear how we got out of Iraq.
14
@9) Citation please.
15
@9 A president gives a eulogy. He's commander in chief. Jeesh.
16
@15
And every fallen soldier gets a presidential eulogy? And every eulogy is made into a press op?

And what about the LIES!!! he told? (That it was a mob protest of a anti-islamist film that got out of hand, and NOT, NOT, NOT a terrorist act).
17
@13

If you think that the reason people enlist is because they want to be tools, then you probably need to complicate your thinking. Whether or not people become tools by doing so is another matter altogether, but that's not the issue here. It would be like me telling you to look around, and if you own anything made by a corporation, then you're just a supporter of imperial exploitation. (And I know that you are using a computer right now that is manufactured by such a corporation.)

Plus, it's just sad when people are too self-involved to have any empathy.
18
@16

Yes, it's a Kenyan Marxist European plot: Obama is deliberately finding out which fall servicemembers have spoken to Romney, given their eulogies in camera range--no doubt relying on a teleprompter, since his unreleased college transcripts clearly prove that he cannot speak extemporaneously--and then coerced their survivors to bash Romney. It's all starting to make sense.
19
@16, listen, the Benghazi incident is a big deal. Of course the President would be speaking at the soldiers funeral. You obviously watch Fox News, as you parrot their talking points perfectly. Your feigned ignorance is pathetic.

And since when do you care about lies? Romney spouts them every time he opens his mouth. You don't seem to care. They were flying fast & furious during the Bush years.

20
I look forward to four seperate apologies in the space of half an hour from the Romney camp.
21
@19
Oh please… The administration lies about the assassination of a US Ambassador for political reasons and you have no problems with that?
22
@21 And what "political reasons" would those be?

And you still have not provided cites.
24
@22
A terrorist attack resulting in a dead ambassador could be seen to be politically inconvenient.

Especially after the administration turned down multiple requests for additional security even though there were plenty of “dots” that had been “connected” by the intelligence community.

Or are you suggesting there is some other reason he lied about the fact that it was a terrorist attack?
25
@24:

What evidence do you have that Ambassador Stevens was killed by terrorists? And before you get started, please note that "because Romney & The New York Post say so" is about as far from credible as you can get..
26
@25 - he doesn't, his only job is to spread FUD. His entire party lies all the time, he's just trolling in their via the same methods.
27
@25
September 21 -- Hillary Clinton:
"What happened in Benghazi was a terrorist attack, and we will not rest until we have tracked down and brought to justice the terrorists who murdered four Americans."
28
@24

Point 1: How is that any more politically inconvenient that a dead ambassador killed by protestors? What the fuck are you talking about? What is the conspiracy here? There were four nearly simultaneous events all through our the middle east. It was hard for ANYBODY to know exactly what happened right away.

Point 2: The President is not responsible for approving or disapproving diplomatic security. The State department is. And they have to get approval of the sovereign friendly nation they intend to send more foreign armed troops to. It's not remotely some unilateral decision.

Point 3: Benghazi isn't where the Embassy is. It was a safe house and there are restriction as to how much armed security the US can have outside of official embassy grounds. We can't secure the whole fucking country.

Point 4: Did the president lie? Or did he have bad information or maybe he needed to keep things under wraps FOR security reasons. Seems to me the Administration came clean once the facts were in.

Point 5: Why is your threshold for truth telling so unilateral? You don't complain when Romney repeatedly PROVABLY lies all through his campaign.

Point 6: If this about "lives:" Then we never heard you once complain about the proven lies that got us into an imoral war and occupation of Iraq. Never heard you ONCE complain about the lies claiming there were WMD in Iraq. Those lies lead to the deaths of HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE. We had MONTHS to prevent those lives from killing innocent people. The republicans and FOX news actively supported and propagated those lies.

Point 7: You're full of shit.

Please wait...
