I have no doubt that Jon can and will eviscerate Bill.

Unfortunately, I imagine that when Bill fails in a format he can't bully effectively, Jon will graciously commit seppuku with false equivalences.
2
This should be entertaining. Bill almost acts normal whenever he speaks with Jon, but the 5-7 minute segments we usually get is them agreeing to disagree with each others' differences.

Jon Stewart has shown to have an incredible knack for debating loud mouthed pundits (on both sides) and I will definitely be watching this.

Why would I pay for something on the internet?
4
5pm?! That's commute time around here...
5
Jon is better at impromptu debates when he can surprise people who don't expect him to be articulate.

Bill knows Jon too well. They're cordial with each other. He's not going to step in any traps. I don't think a debate between the two would be all that interesting.
6
No, but I'll download the torrent 2 hours later.
7
I'll catch it on YouTube when it invariably gets uploaded by six-hundred people hoping to drive the visibility of their otherwise shitty channels.
8
I don't watch cable whores.
9
I'm with @3 and @6.
10
Does the money go to charity?
11
Don't forget half that 5 is going to charity before you answer.
12
Maybe I'll just go back and watch the clips from every other time they've done this? Or not.
13
Oh, good. More straw vegans is just what this place needed.
14
Sorry, if I wanted to watch Jon Stewart give the rest of the country the idea that liberals and conservatives are 'not so different, you and I' I wouldn't have abandoned him and his bullshit false-equivalence halfway through the second Bush administration.

Get Stephen Colbert and I'd consider watching a pirated stream off usenet.
15
I'd pay to watch it, but the people putting shit like this out need to figure out that watching it live is not actually a plus. Hopefully if I pay my $5, I get to watch it whenever I want, instead of having to schedule it like I was gathering the family around the TV set in the 1950's.
16
Didn't publicity stunts used to be free?
17
I adore Jon Stewart and will watch him in the Debbie Reynolds role performing Singing in the Rain.

He mentioned last night that his proceeds were going to charity, but Jon hinted that Bill O'Reilly's keeping his half. Is that true?
18
I would rather have a root canal than pay to see the pustulating Bill O'Reilly. That's like paying to have someone piss on my brain. No thanks.
19
O'Reilly won't eviscerate anyone other than himself.
20
@1: So true. Stewart gives yet another sloppy blowjob to "moderates" as if any exist to convince. He belongs with the conservadems in the DLC.
21
Anyone know if any taverns out there are going to host this event on their TVs for happy hour?

Please wait...
