i would have donated weeks ago if it wasn't for the stupid "ih8gawker@thestranger.com" email address -- way to drive a non-existent and petty rivalry into the ground and shoot yourself in the foot during the process

i like gawker and gizmodo and jalopnik and kotaku and, i'll say it, jezebel occasionally

Of course, those are just people too lazy to pull themselves up by their own old, worn-out boot straps. The job-creators have tons of work for them.

(I have a small monthly donation already set up that I do not get receipts for, just line item charges in my bank statement. This photo moved me to donate extra and that's when I found out about the email change)

Charity is not going to solve this problem, even though it does help people immediately (if temporarily). Capitalism requires unemployment to keep wages down and homelessness to keep housing prices up.
