Coming out in opposition to an issue the day before the election is not the most effecive way to sway opinion. His staff explaination is BS - the mayor didn't need to sign anything to pen an op-ed or simply make a statement to the media.
Has there ever been a less relevant mayor in Seattle? I'm not a native, so I'm seriously interested in the answer to this question.
this is such a bad piece of legislation, that i kind of hope it passes & the idiots of this state have to live w/ the consequences. perhaps nothing sums up the pathetic state of american democracy as well as i-1125 & i-1183.
