Meh, this seems like a really bad idea. Catering to this group, giving them so many second chances. All it takes is for some Tea Party group next April 17th, to attempt the same thing. If the mayor treats them any differently than the OWS group, then he might have some lawsuits to deal with.
First of all, you should realize that OWS and OS is backed by some of the richest people on planet Earth.
So to turn it back on #1 and #2, when you get a billion dollars in the bank, then maybe your comments will carry some weight.
Meanwhile...keep pulling pud and doing the whole "I'm so cynical" web writer thing.
Romney-backer is biggest Occupy Wall Street donor
Ex-banker Robert S Halper says he is “a little A.D.D.” with his philanthropy. Though he’s reached the cap on contributions to Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign, that hasn’t stopped the giving — he pledged $20,000 to start Occupy Wall Street.
Ah, Kittenkoder is a ray of sunshine, a breath of fresh air, and an intellectual heavyweight. Â Her posts always add insight and reveal the complexities of any given issue. Â Her prose is like melted butter on warm toast.
Oh, but she never did explain for us how, exactly, the Republicans saved the civil rights movement from the hippies (from a few threads ago, where, upon being called out she disappeared and trolled other posts.) I've been waiting with baited breath, as I'm sure her thesis is illuminating. Â I expect citations, of course; I'm sure that's not a problem because it's been documented and peer reviewed, right?
@5 While I don't argue a media produced story is probably full of a lot of bullshit, the crime rate fall across the country is effected largely by violent crime declines, not petty crimes. But the story is pretty much what the Occupy tards are asking for.
It looks like Kittenkoder is leaving us all hanging again. Too bad. I'm sure she's busy living a happy, fulfilling life and only carves out what little time she can to spew vitriol on Slog.
@1 - A Tea Party Occupation? LOL. Bring it on!! Those lazy know-nothings haven't the stamina to stand up through the Pledge of Allegiance, let alone overnight on a street corner in the rain.

Someone is redistributing the wealth now.

Seems suspicious given the the crime rate in NYC has dropped precipitously in the past decade.
