Wow.

Very cool.
2
I really really hope this is true

This is Boomberg's worst nightmare! And great news! Now we need hundreds of thousands to converge, peacefully, and start to fight back.

The majority of cops are good people who want to help their fellow citizens.
Unfortunately, the nature of the job means those who take advantage of their position do more damage than other jackasses in the general population.
I'm glad the good cops are starting to feel like they can stand up for what they believe in and not be as afraid of retaliation from higher up.

I'm not ready to believe some wordpad blog that I've never heard of before. And if it is a trustworthy source, "unconfirmed" is the key word.
6
I obviously can't say if this is or isn't true, but if you know any cops well—NYC or otherwise—you'd be very, very skeptical of this account.

They're the 99 percent who still haven't realized that "Wall Street" long ago packed up its quants and moved the trading to server rooms in Wichita.

8
I doubt it.

10 bucks they'll all be back after Rosh Hashana

I'd like this to be the start of something big in this country but Wisconsin was supposed to be something big and it died out and Michigan was supposed to be something big and what happened there?

Give it a few months and see if other cities (like I don't know, SEATTLE) decide to get into the game. If it doesn't become wide spread the corporate state will be unharmed.

@10 Check out Westlake on Saturday. 10-7.

When more 'normal' people start starving, dying of easily preventable medical problems, sleeping in cars and under bridges, then things -might- start changing. As long as the teabag wingnuts do not totally take over. If they do, it will get really ugly.

Charles, this made my day. If you or one of the Eager Stranger Interns can verify this, please let us know. "The 99 percent--now noisier than ever!"

Please wait...
