"fattest growing group"? Oh, Dan, let's not rehash an unrelated fight with a typo, please.
2
BTW diabetes and high blood pressure both put you at higher risk for dementia later in life. So that's another reason.
3
But maybe a reason they rail against the gays and not the fats is that it's a lot harder to be a closeted glutton.
4
So, why again are homosexual men 88X as likely to have AIDS?

Because Oklahomos are fat?

Really?
5
Sally says AIDS has killed more Americans than terrorism.

Is she right?
6
You are so charming and clever and preciously cute Danny but what is your solution to the fact that 20% of men who engage in homosexual sex get and give HIV?

Or do you just not give a flying fuck how many homosexuals die from AIDS.......
7
Putting aside all the 4chan-memes-from-two-years-ago-speak, this guy has some very good points.
8
is it just possible that a nation as great as ours can fight obesity and HIV?

at the same time?

do we have to pick only one, Danny?
9
Unemployed troll is unemployed...typical oriental layabout, talks a lot but says nothing.

If this woman actually was trying to save lives, she'd be campaigning for safer sex practices, like strict use of condoms, not telling gay people to live miserable closeted/celibate lives. But hey, since when has the GOP cared about logic?
11
This is actually an incredibly good point. As I understand it (and not having been thoroughly indoctrinated I expect I may be wrong), there are three types of sins: deadly, venial, and mortal, in increasing order of severity. But deadly sins are deceptive: they're the marijuana of sins, gateway sins, if you will. Sloth or gluttony will not, in themselves, condemn you to eternal damnation, but if you start with sloth or gluttony you are probably going to end up having an abortion, apostasizing, or being gay (all three, perhaps), and then you're going to hell. I suppose on some level you can see why religious types are so obsessed with teh gheys, because gay issues have been high profile of late, but given that something like 40% of US adults are obese, you really have to wonder how and why the churches have been so glaringly remiss in their pastoral duties.

If this argument came from a Democrat, would we be so offended? Well, no, but only because a Democrat would be saying it to defund overblown anti-terrorism programs and fund AIDS research.

Just seems like almost the exact same words could be put to good use, had they only not come out of Sally Kern's fetid, monstrous lips.

@10: Yeah, it's like the people who rail against abortion but resist any effort to make birth control more available.

Savage endorsing ERV?

Fun fun fun.

I don't think she's gonna be leading the fight against Oklahoman obesity anytime soon:

Obviously the heterosexual female lifestyle is a dangerous lifestyle and should be banned. I say that out of love for those who are trapped in the heterosexual female lifestyle.

Gluttony's a sin? What? I thought it was a part of the American Dream. You know, the part that drives around Walmart on one of those scooters. God bless Amurka!

Please wait...
