One of the rare times someone actually pulls this off--a high speed getaway--and they blow it? Go Team Yakima.
2
Is Yakima County trolling facebook now?

Goldy, I hate to be a pedant, but that's not the correct use of "Darwinism". Natural selection is not Darwinism. If we want people to understand and accept evolution, it would be better to actually use (and if necessary, educate about) the terms that are used to describe and talk about evolution.

Nineteen years old. Maybe he'll learn something from this and live to see 20. I wouldn't bet money on that, though.

* facepalm*

What a moron.
6
What? One of his "friends" ratted him out to the cops? Roll over Orwell.

'A photograph on the web site was "strikingly similar to the one that eluded the deputy hours earlier," according to the Sheriff’s Office.'

Good on that photograph for outrunning the cops, but it should have known better than to hide on the internet.

*facepalm + fall out of chair while laughing at said moron*

@7, thank you

I can't drive ... 145.

No, really, the limiter kicks in around 125. If I time it right I can break 130, but that's it.

Well, we need someone to donate the organs.

4am search warrant? They couldn't wait until morning?

Was this one of the SWAT Team breaks in the door waving guns around and shooting the family pets search warrants?

STJA @3, The use of "Darwinism" in this context is too well established to change now. I'm not entirely sure how obviously idiot behavior being an example of Darwinism is a bad thing, anyway.

Get this guy a lawyer. If writing about breaking laws were illegal, all of the good authors would be in jail.
15
@14: Writing about breaking laws constitutes probable cause, given that it was in conjunction with him fitting the description of the perp.
16
@14,

You're right. Writing about breaking laws isn't illegal, but breaking laws is illegal, and writing can be used as evidence.

I did this once, but it was pre-Facebook & my friends that I bragged to were trustworthy. Not that I would recommend it...

Please wait...
