Dude.

Whatever happened to Three Strikes And You're Legalized?

... legalize, tax, and sell it in WSLCB stores

There, solved your fake "budget crisis" for you ...

it is sweet that the (sometimes tiny) minority of people in the government who believe in executing the will of the populace are trying this again. i don't have much hope for anything positive coming of it. but still, it's sweet.

Bad Law, kill this sucker quickly...the status quo is far better. I am a newby to Seattle, but not to cannabis politics or MMJ. My limited viewpoint here in this arena sees WCA and Dowdy's endorsement as a kiss of death. That group seems to represent a money oriented side of the equation.

Let this one die peacefully.....

Legalize it. Don't criticize it.

An earlier post, about a week back, maybe more, linked to some medical marijuana discussion forum. Most of the commenters there were for the patient registry.

Isn't the patient registry a good thing? Remember the guy that was arrested and had his house tossed by the cops for growing two plants, plants that a neighbor smelled outside a bathroom window? Seems to me instances like that are what suggest a patient registry is a good thing. Cops get a tip, check the registry, find out it's a registered user, and move on.

Without a registry, what happens?

@7: Dr. A, what you describe isn't a registry of patients but a registry of patients' addresses. How do you suppose those who are committing federal civil disobedience would feel about the state creating a list of their home addresses?

Cops get a tip, check with the person, find out she's authorized, and move on.

The law is that the officers are supposed to leave legitimate patients alone NOW. We have a recommendation that is done in an official way so it can't be copied and such. Why do we need a registry? We need to make sure our laws are enforced as they are written. We can't have rogue officers just doing whatever they want....but that is occurring now....I think our police need medical cannabis related training. Just my 2 cents.

Please wait...
