Perfect.

I would say he'll bring the same ruin to the mayors office, but that ship sailed long ago.

"A former staffer in the in"?
4
Nice to know that in this time of slashing budgets, the Mayor can still afford to dole out $95K sinecure to his pals.
5
Who could have predicted McGinn would only serve one term?
7

A Bike Nazi named "Hiller" ?

Isn't it a bit too much...

8
Does Seattle have a recall mechanism?
9
From the Times: "Hiller, 41, said he plans to work on a house he just bought on Seattle's Beacon Hill, then look for other employment."

Does he always lie?

It's good to see that Mike McGinn doesn't hold grudges. Before David Hiller supported McGinn for mayor in 2009, he supported Greg Nickels for mayor in 2009. Lame endorsement, Hiller. Good thing it didn't matter.

Going to be a short stay.

Good move.

At this rate, Mayor McGinn's reelection numbers will be around 80 percent, like those for Jim McDermott.

True to form, nepotism and corruption in our city has such a crunchy, granola feel to it.

Create a gold-plated featherbed job for one of your buddies in the middle of an unprecedented financial crisis? That's really showing progressive leadership!

Poising the movement for reelection. Rally and reward the base. Such is the case. Hiller will fight for Seattle. He's the bike messenger. He more or less stays between the lines, he delivers.

Please wait...
