I filled out my ballot based on what would provide the most entertaining news coverage. In other words, I voted for or against anything in a fashion leading the gravest consequences for us all.

@1, I'm leaning toward that same democracy-dooming but consistent philosophy. It began when I was happy to have no alternative to voting McGinn since Slog yelling about him is so much fun, and I'll vote for Fitzgibbon to see how the media crush plays out on "candidate most likely to have hairless nalgas".

Argh. Of course I can't vote for Fitzgibbon - his district is way over yonder.

I wrote in Mike McGinn for any judicial or attorney position that I didn't like the "only choice" incumbent in, since he's a lawyer and a great Mayor.

I'm a Joe supporter... but you could at least be fair to Mike. He worked as a County Council aide, and helped lead Dow Constantine's campaign for County Executive. He may be less experiences, but he's not exactly sitting around in his childhood bedroom taking advice from his Dad.
