As a black gay man, I have to agree with the author on all of these points. I date/fuck all sorts of guys but I'm probably the most strictest with other gay/bi black guys than I am with a white guy or latino guy because of the points she mentioned. I'm more interested in randomly finding gay black guys with their shit together than going after guys who don't have their shit together. No ambition-less hood rats for me. The same goes with guys of other races but more so with blacks. weird i know but i know a handful of other black guys who are like me as well.

Wow, her comments are intense. While her generalizations seem unfair, I've observed that people of different races and/or nationalites (countries or continents, that is) do declare their preference or a distain for a person of a different race and/or nationality.

Over the course of the past few months, I've heard a hispanic man say "never marry a Mexican woman!", I white woman say "I'll never date a black man or an African", an African-American woman say "I want to marry a European" and an Asian woman say "I only date white men. Asian men don't turn me on".

I am not sure they need to say that but natural selection works in sometimes strange and uncomfortable ways.

I'm too lazy to find the link, but Ok Cupid did one of their statistical analysis postings on this topic. Basically, white men had many more successful contacts and dates than any other group, per capita. Like Louie CK says, it's never not a good time to be a white man. Most of us are total douches, though, so there's that.
