I'd hate to agree with #1 but yeah. Isn't there a country in decline that Obama's supposed to be working on? Maybe a little less time in front of the cameras and a little more time doing his damn job is in order.
Yeah this country is falling to shit. Guantanamo is being close, the economy is growing again with unemployment sure to follow, a new hate-crime bill that includes homosexuals has been passed. BUT DADT IS STILL THERE SO FUCK OBAMA HIS STUPID ASS NEEDS TO STOP HAVING A WIFE AND SPEAKING TO THE PUBLIC.
Come one people, Obama needs at least 7 years to actually accomplish anything. So no complaining about Obama until he is nearly done with his second term.
Complain all you want, but to say that he has accomplished nothing because he hasn't done the ONE thing that you DEMAND is childish and short sighted. Then to complain that the President is engaging the people in these issues, or complaining that an independent journalist wrote a story about his wife....well it's just stupid and dishonest.
My thoughts exactly. I'm very disappointed that he hasn't done anything about DADT, but at the end of the day, there are a lot of issues that need to be addressed. How he prioritizes those issues should be considered one of the hardest decisions anyone could make, and to complain because YOUR issue hasn't been met yet is shortsighted and selfish.
I'm proud to have a well balanced first family, with reasonable priorities (look at france... at least we're not them!), and I think it sends the right message to the country and the world. No need to have an office that ruins the life of the official.
You know a guy is losing when he starts wheeling out the wife and kids for sympathy...as this poll shows:
For First Time Under Obama, Majority Says U.S. Is on Wrong Track
