An submission about race and Obama not submitted by Charles? Was Charles demoted because of his race?
2
In their defense, this is a Wiki, and anybody can make edits. Here's the history of the page: http://www.christopedia.us/w/index.php?t…
3
As it's currently edited, the word "nigger" appears 62 times.

Sixty. Two. Times.
4
@ 2: According to Christopedia's main page, it's not like Wikipedia in this way. Only approved, registered members can make changes.
5
Anthony...did you look at the history? It is not much better than the current.
7
This is actually pretty funny. But yes, you do have to acknowledge that it was probably edited last by a troll; a troll who shows remarkable skillz by the manner in which he is able to point out, twist, and generally poison the 'gray' areas of Obama's life. (These 'gray' areas are just the boring parts present in everybody's lives.) I'm impressed; putting this much time into something so easily seen as a ridiculous and demented rant. I may have to repeat...
8
fucking shitting jesus christ on a stick
9
@2: Thanks, Anthony, for mentioning that. I would like to point out, though, that it's been in its present incarnation for three days, and not just anyone can edit Christopedia articles, either.
10
the best part? The article entitled "Miscegenation" has a flag at the top which says "this article may be biased in favor of a liberal perspective."
11
All that hate from people who would tell you their religion is about "love." Right. And Islam is a religion of peace too. Is it any wonder I don't take any of these ninnyhammers seriously?
12
Check out the Michelle Obama page...

She once claimed during the campaign that she was "proud of America for the first time," though she later took it back; she claimed to be equally proud when George and Weezie moved on up to the East Side.
13
Sorry Paul - to edit this page, all you have to do is register and confirm your email. I just registered, and was able to change the hot dog cart he sold drugs from into a magic carpet. No special permission required.

This is the work of trolls.
14
I'm really not sure the site is for real. It doesn't look like it's really by any sort of Christians. Look at the Jesus page; http://www.christopedia.us/Jesus

I think it's a parody of Christians, not the real deal.
15
Oh My God, that Jesus entry is the shit!

Jesus of Nazareth(Born Emanuel Pablo Bin Laden Christ) was a songwriter and musician extraordinaire; the bass guitarist and lead singer of famed rock band Nazareth. Not to be confused with MC900 Ft Jesus who may have been somebody else, it's possible we may never know. Then again, it is possible that we may not never know, in which case this page will need to be updated. Yet a third possibility is that we already know, but simply haven't let anyone know that we know. At any rate...
16
Well to be fair, if you look at the revision history he was only a "Negro" or "Negroid" until early this month.

Stay classy.
17
@ 15

Nice find! That is indeed a rare gem... a Gold nugget of wonder... a light in such a dark world... I want to marry the whole thing.
18
Check out "Racial differences between negroes and caucasians". This site can't be for real. Can it?
19
For what it is worth (and be warned, there is a screenshot of the infamous not-safe-for-anything "Goatse" on the sidebar):

http://encyclopediadramatica.com/Christo…
20
The real Christopedia would not leave "homosexual pedophile" redlinked.
21
Wait a second. You mean there's false information about people online?
22
The author of the vast majority of edits is XenonII -- Xenon? Greek for Stranger? COINCIDENCE?

The article also claims to be "semi-protected indefinitely in response to an ongoing high risk of vandalism," so it ain't all that Wiki.
23
Check this one out: http://www.christopedia.us/Homosexual

Charming folks, them Christians.
24
I had to laugh at the Christopedia home page:
"753 divinely inspired articles"

So we can blame the Christian's god for any errors.
Oh, and the word "nigger" no longer exists on the page.
25
Well it's nice to see that Carter was wrong. I hated thinking that conservatives were racist. Nice to see them disprove that claim.
27
@19 acblue has it right with the Encyclopedia Dramatica link. Christopedia is definitely becoming a "lollercaust of retarded proportions."

For those of you unfamiliar with the work of /b/, here's what wikipedia has to say: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/4chan
28
Dude. This is a joke site from the good folks from ChickenHead Productions. Same people who brought you Landover Baptist and whitehouse.org.
29
Haven't yall seen Lewis Black's rant on the DailyShow about Christopedia? It's worth the search to find it!
30
@28 - thanks. And now that I'm looking through the site more, ha! From the rules and guidelines:

1. Only True Christians™ may edit Christopedia.
If you have not been Saved©, don't even think about editing or creating an article...
31
@30 - Oh no, I was on the wrong Christopedia - http://christopedia.atwiki.com/. Never mind! Still, I find it healthier to laugh at such idiocy than to get mightily offended.
32
If you have not been there, go to landoverbaptist.com... Funny as hell!
33
why did you post this?

look AWAY from the train wreck...acknowledge that it EXISTS, work hard to prevent future train wrecks, but no need to linger around and stare at it...
34
They've fixed it. Now his mother was worldly and there is no n-word.
35
Ok, this was clearly just vandalized, and will doubtless be restored to it's previous glory where the word "nigger" is spelled "muslim", and the word "uppity" is spelled "arrogant".

I don't know why people bother vandalizing Conservapedia -- the actual content is always far worse than anything the vandals do.

It's like the Colbert Report, but funny.
36
Oh, my mistake, I kept reading Conservapedia for Christopedia... Reading comprehension is not my strong suit.
37
Paul,

YHBT. HAND.

You lose! Good day, sir!

etc.
38
Christopedia has been pwned. Some of it's actually fairly clever, in a somewhat nausea-inducing manner.
39
Vince @20 , I always thought Jesus was a vampire, what with the drink my blood and become one of mine, with immortality everlasting and all.

The Adulteress story is one of the more reputed addenda, left in because it's a good story about compassion (something of which contemporary fundies seem to be scant.) Also a noted (and less favorable) addendum made official: that whole bit about requiring the silence of women in church. I'm to lazy to look it up, but the contradictory passage allowing women to speak and prophecy openly predates it.

Bible revisions a lot o' fun, but they're going to have a hard time convincing the rest of the world that they've been inspired by God to make the revision. Then again, Joseph Smith pulled it off magnificently(Dum dum dum dum dum...).

While we're showing and telling cool bible revisions...

What is scary to me is that I can no longer tell the radicals from the moderate conservatives. The conservative platform (as far as I've seen) is:
• Criminalize homosexuality or any non-reproductive sex.
• Criminalize transgenderism, require intergenders to default to the most similar binary.
• Criminalize abortion and contraception.
• Criminalize pornography, obscenity, or material that is at a judge's discretion too weird
• Criminalize media that is too disruptive or too disagreeable, as per a judge's discretion
• Criminalize any behavior that is, as per a judge's discretion, inappropriate, including open protests
• Criminalize all religions outside Judaism and Christianity (including Islam).
• Criminalize public use of languages other than English.
• Regulate fringe denominations (Mormonism, Jehovah's Witnesses, Unificationists, Unitarians, etc.)
• Criminalize open atheism (including agnosticism).
• De-criminalize private weapon ownership, including nukes and thermobarics.
• De-criminalize all invasions of privacy by the state
• Require prayer in schools, and Abstenence-only sex-ed, and creationism and young-Earth cosmology.
• De-regulate all industries.
• De-institutionalize all state-run services whenever possible. (Find a way, whenever not.)
• Re-instate an expansionist, imperialist foreign policy.
• Re-instate Less Eligibility policies
• Expand provisions for capital punishment. Capital punishment for illegal immigrants.

There aren't any conservative points (that aren't also Liberal points) that I know of and agree with, with the singular exception of gun control; I think civilians should have access to anything the military has, though they'd have little use for much of it.

Now my point is not to say all conservatives are whackos, but thanks to websites like this, FOX news and all other appearances of conservatism in the media, they all appear to be whackos. I'm sure there are more rational conservatives out there, just as I know that there are plenty of rational (sometimes quite liberal) Christians out there. But these gentle folk don't make an appearance much in media.

Did it miss or exaggerate any (seriously)? (note that I'm talking end objectives, not just the intermittent ones conservatives push today. They may be pushing against gay marriage or civil union rights now, but were they to eliminate them, we'd see them pushing against gay working rights and privacy rights, next.)
41
There's really nothing to say about this. Either it mocks itself, or you're one of the people who actually think this way and mocking it isn't going to penetrate your thick, schizophrenic hide.
42
@29: I saw that episode, and it was great. But he was referring to Conservapedia, not Christopedia. Though the two are not much different, frankly. (Though the people running Conservapedia apparently can't understand that...)

Also, how can you all still be debating whether this is real or not? Didn't posters 14 & 20 point that out well enough?
43
clearly a joke here... either the entire site, or the site was sincere and then abandoned and trolled. look as the footnotes... that's pretty funny actually. all of them "1" including four 1s for one sentence? i think much of it is inappropriate humor, but there is no way this is not a joke.
44
Behold: Poe's law, manifest!

Please wait...
