Wow. That's amazing and scary and fantastic. Good job, everyone!
2
Horse tranquilizers...stuck in a hole... Is it Friday already?
3
I wish I had 50 lives. Animal Response Team member would take up one of them.
5
Thanks for the post. We need all the happy endings we can find these days.
6
Ha @ #5: you said "happy endings".
7
I wish I were under the influence of actual horse tranquilizers.
8
That absolutely breaks my heart! I am so glad he's okay. If anything ever happened to my horsey I would die.
9
Another rewritten press release. Congrats, "journalist."
10
Lucky for the horse that it was not in Enumclaw, hmm or maybe not. I guess it depends on what the horse is into. Wouldn't want to assume...
11
that's called gettin' your ass "baby jessica'd."
12
that's called gettin' your ass "baby jessica'd."

how come this isnt a selectable interest on lustlab?
13
Kinaidos: Did someone break your heart in Enumclaw? You sure seem to have some axe to grind about that town....
14
Wow, a horse in the sticks can get a faster emergency response than crime victims in the city!
15
Wow, a 26 year old horse. Is that normal?
16
You'd have known this first if you followed @kcnews!
17
Why didn't they just shoot it? Was the well that important?
18
@13 -if you were really the avid slog reader you claim, you'd get it. To catch up, try googling various combinations of "enumclaw", "horse", and "fucker".

Not that it's really worth "getting"...
19
scary tyler moore, under the influence of actual horse tranquilizers, is reportedly feeling great.
21
@15: Yes it's quite normal. Horses that are well taken care of very often live into their 30's... And its not unheard of for them to live to 40. My horse is 25 and is just as vibrant as he was when I got him at age 8.

@17: You're a fucking douchebag.
22
Wow, the troll @20 comes out, finally! (er, sort of)
23
@9: I think the phrase you're looking for is "stupid fucking credulous hack."
24
@21. and you're a humorless hag.
25
@18,only one that made me laugh. My dad always said,"son, most people ride that horse to town."
26
My dad also said,"you can lead a horse to water, but if it tries to drown itself, its best not tryin to understand 'why?'Now quit what yer doin there,it ain't natural, and git them horses saddeled up.We're burnin daylight."

Since when is the Stranger regurgitating King County press releases? I thought you guys mocked other local media for doing the same thing.
28
@27) Settle down, bronco. From what I can tell, The Stranger mocks other media outlets that regurgitate press releases when it's a) a subject of consequence, b) an issue with two sides and one has gone untold, and c) the media outlet is trying to hide the fact that it's regurgitating a press release. In contrast, this story is about one horse, we can safely rule out any widespread public opposition to the horse rescue, and the post is clearly regurgitating a press release.

Please wait...
