If you want a good pomegranate soda, Fill a glass 3/4 with Fresca, then top with pure pomegranate juice -- the stuff from Turkey is way cheaper than Lander's or Pom. Make sure you're getting 100% real pomegranate juice and not some kind of disgusting "cocktail" that's 90% pear or grape juice, or sugar.

It's flavoring is natural, but does not come from juice. So for example, maybe if you put cedar bark and bumblebee wings and stem cells into a blender, and then you add carbonated water, it turns out tasting vaguely like pomegranate. Then you can say that it's 100% natural flavors, but 0% juice. Mystery solved!

The one time I ate a pomegranate, it didn't seem like juice material to me. Just a lot of seeds that are hard to keep from taking a parabolic arc into your dinner partner's new white blouse.

Oooh! Goody! I get to complain about how sweet these soda concoctions are. Isn't sweet a "natural" flavor. Give me a soda with real juice, raw sugar, but only about half as sweet.

Usually "natural flavoring" is basically the same as artificial flavoring, both engineered in New Jersey laboratories. When the flavoring is derived from substances occurring in nature, rather than completely synthetic, they call it natural. Pretty misleading.
