<p>Not to nitpick, but Jean Chrétien was a member of the Quebecois minority, and he wasn't the first (that would be Wilfrid Laurier).</p>

<p>Also, Benjamin Disraeli was ethnically though not observantly Jewish, and French Prime Minister Léon Gambetta was the son of an Italian immigrant.</p>]]></description>
