And who doesn't? I mean, doesn't Seattle's urban core (Capital Hill, Belltown, etc.) consist primarily of transplants from red states, people who just couldn't take it anymore and left for the bluest of blue places they could find?
If you've got rightwing relatives out there that you've been avoiding talking about politics to, please, reach out to them. They're probably as depressed today as you are jubilant, so be considerate and respectful, but reach out to them to let them know that you don't think they're personally the enemy, and you're not the enemy either; the real enemy wants to segregate our country into red and blue -- and the more of us leave them out to dry by fleeing and never looking back, the redder those red states are going to get. Talk to your folks about conservatism, before it's too late.
I'll be staying in tonight, hiding from the mobs of enraged republicans and celebrating very quietly. It's what red state democrats do. Somebody there party for me, will ya?
