Rahm Emanuel has a bit of a reputation in Chicago of being pretty ruthless. The article called it "single minded determination", but the less polite way of putting it is "will step on anyone or anything to get what he wants". I think he's a bit of a curious choice for Obama's Chief of Staff, but we'll see.

My friends, contrary to what the godless anarchists and fudgefishers at The Stranger say, this election is not over. McCain/Palin can still win! All you gotta do is believe. And then go back to your polling place and vote again.

It's not too late!

Vote for McCain/Palin in 2008!

I have a dream!

Yes we can!

@6: Right? I had no idea! Back in my day we just called it "drawing on someone's face with sharpie after they pass out first." These kids today and their vocabularies.

I love how Reichert is pissing off the post office and vote counters! "How dispicable [that the votes haven't been counted yet]."

The fact that a 9-year old kid includes "I hope nothing happens to you," is saddening. The rest is fantastic though.

On the election, this town pumped ten-fold the dollars in the service industry (bars) and small business sector (corner stores) as a direct result of Obama's win. That wouldn't have happened anywhere had McCain won, and that's got to be something.
