Note to Eastern Washington: Seattle did not steal this one, we won it fair and square. SUCK IT, MUTHAFUCKAS!

Power-hungry people always find a way to insert themselves into elections. While my fervent hope is that Rossi quits running for office altogether and becomes a lobbyist or CEO or something, I'm slightly concerned that he'll try yet again for the state's top office in 2012. I hope not, but the fear is there.

I think Rossi has his sights set on running for POTUS someday, and realizes that his state senate record won't make him a very attractive candidate. So I must ask whether anyone is concerned that Rossi might try to run against Patty Murray when her term is up in 2010. If he wants to make a bid for a spot on the national stage, wouldn't that be the next logical step?

Couldn't have happened to a more deserving little prick.

And that goes double for Eyeman.

I loved how Rossi was all like "It's not election night in Washington, it's election week," last night when it began to look like he was going to lose.

Don't need a week this time, chump.

@2 - Actually Gregoire had a wonderful showing in the Olympic Peninsula (maybe that message about saving Puget Sound?) and even did extremely well in Spokane and Clark (Vancouver, Wash.) Counties.

Go Washington! :)

I hope that Gregoire takes him up on his offer to help with the budget and deficit that we will be facing.

It will go a long way to heal the hearts of his supporters and has the potential of helping all of us (including we Gregoire supporters)

Did you see him last night after all the networks had given it to Gregoire? He was such a jerk about losing. The man has no class and no grace.

What about Darcy Burner? I saw her ahead last night and then today I'm seeing Richart barely ahead. Is this finalized?

Dino sucks. His sour grapes speech last night was unbelievable. I thought for sure he'd spend another couple months wasting everyone's time and energy trying to pull another lost campaign out of the dumpster. I'm glad to see he finally accepted the fact that WA doesn't want him.

@ 8 - Dino's PAC supporters had billboards posted in E. Washington saying, "Don't Let Seattle Steal THIS Election!" Thus, my response. A sweet victory, given all the money Rossi's hacks spent to get him elected. No razor-thin margin this time!

Nevermind. According to this:
http://election.cbsnews.com/election2008/state.shtml?state=WA

It's still undecided. Torture!

I wish I had video of the little speech he gave last night around 9:30. It was right around the Obama speech so only KONG was showing it. But it was obnoxious. He went on and on about what he was going to do once the votes were counted and he was in office in Olympia. How everyone had been mean to him, etc. He spoke like his election was a certainty and his god-given right.

It would be hilarious to watch if its available somewhere.

poor Dino...and his Eastside Commercial Bank isn't doing very well either...and it looks like it's going to be a few years before there's a Republican back in the White House and I don't think Cantwell and Murray are going anywhere so there really isn't a job for him in the public sector for the forseeable future, unless he wants to go back into the state legislature or run for Mayor of Bellevue.

Dino won't run in 2012, it will be MCKENNA! Anyone who voted for McKenna for AG because "they don't like Ladenburg" don't see the forest.

Funny, *I* did the whole "FUCK YOU, MOTHERFUCKER! HA! FUCK YOU!" dance right after he conceded . . . an old-fashioned ass-whupping couldn't happen to a more-deserving guy!

@21, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. And as bad as McKenna is, he's better than Rossi. And Ladenburg ran an unbelievably inept campaign, LOSING KING COUNTY and running behind even Jason Osgood, our SecState candidate.

Dino Just doesn't get it. He call voters theives on his billboards pisses off everone with his bullshit slander.Looses Spokane and Whitman county It's not about being a replubican or democrat, it's about the person. Washington State has had good Governors both parties. Chris Gregorie is a honorable Governor,Dan Evans a republican was a very good Governor. Dino please run again I want to see you become a 3 time looser it represents the person you really are.
