sorry pretty fox news lady, but no, your viewers do not deserve better. your viewers deserve exacatly what they get. i suspect being stood up by sarah palin is going to be the least of their grievances in the next couple days.

These cable-news clowns have to fill airtime 24/7. They love campaign rallies; that's hours of airtime they don't have to line up some talking heads to fill. They're not about to give that up.

As long as she can dodge the mainstream media she looks golden to her fans at rallies and on the internet. I expect she will have a huge cadre of followers by 2012, all of whom already distrust the media and have created an alternate reality. She could very well be a force to reckon with in 4 years if she can get these folks to fork over the cash. Given the success of the most outlandish tele-evangelists she shouldn't have too much trouble, there always seem to be plenty of sheep to fleece.

Perhaps she was put off by the snarky tone of this Kelly person, who doesn't seem to be able to speak in reasonable tones no matter what the circumstances?
