1. Stevens wins.
2. That's good for Denms, keeps the crook in te news, the Senate considers expelling him, etc. etc.
3. He goes bye bye.
4. Vacancy!
5. Gov of Alaska appoint to fill it.
6. GUESS WHO SHE APPOINTS...herself!
7. Book.
8. Sen. Palin has run afoul of ethics rules in the Senate, the ethics committee found today when it ruled she can't pull down $2 million a year for being on Fox News with her own TV show while serving as Us Senator....
9. Palin attacks ethics saying "in America working to get ahead used to be honored...."
etc. etc. etc. ad nauseum

She's sick and brainwashed and has been driven to infect America. If she continues in the public sector, she'll have all the fundies groveling. She's as sick as Ben Stein making that creationist film. EXPELLED is being hawked on some rightwing radio stations, usually right after they defend and idolize the Palin witch. I PRAY that those who have the know-how, hack the shit out of both of their websites.

@1 and @2:

I have no idea what you guys are talking about. Because when I clicked on the link it said "BarackAsPresident.com" and it showed the oval office. Nothing there to click on for fun little gimmicks.

(If there was music or sound, I missed out on it.)

According to the Archives, Megan posted this to Slog on October 15th. Still fun to mess with, though, now we know it's just a funny site and not a real possibility.

It was a funny little point-and-click image of Palin in the Oval Office, much like the old Monty Python PC games if you ever played them, but now it's become a celebration of Obama's victory. I wonder if the original was archived somewhere?

Who is singing the song and how can I get it?

I went there this morning, because a coworker and I would go a few times a week and look for the new stuff.

When it loaded up and was all peaceful, and that song...that was one of my few weepy moments. My reaction was very interesting; before I would get stressed even though it was funny. Going there today was...well it almost induced a sob of relief.

Amy-- it is on YouTube. Will.i.am from Black Eyed Peas did it. Everyone (ie lots of famous folks) sing it with him and appear in the video.

Here's the link:

The site has been redone for Barack, but you can still access the old site with a link at the bottom of the screen. Very funny!!!

If I hear that black eye pea song one more time I'm going to find Will.I.am.not.cool and vomit down his shirt.

By the way, Stevens did not win in Alaska. It's tied, and there are 55,000 votes left to count. Begich is going to pull it out.

If you go to the old site, click on the light switch and while the lights are din, click on the red phone...it was the last update before the election.

How wonderful. Don't forget to turn your speakers on. I am so overjoyed for our new Commander in Chief. I am proud to again see the American flag that I salute as a military member. I hope that he is able to achieve what he aims to. Thanks for posting this, Dan. Could have been a much different picture. Thank God it's not.

At #3...

Yes, you can still access the Palin in President site. At the bottom of the "new" Barack Obama page, go to the bottom and click on the red words, "(View Original Site)."
