Although, @3, I do recall reading a middling sci-fi novel a number of years ago that posited, if you could recreate the formative experiences of the host and effectively "direct" the psycho-emotional maturation of clone, you might have a shot at creating a very similar personality; again, not OF the original, but very much like the original.
