I'm getting a little more moved by these letters than I thought I would. I think I might just about break down and cry when I vote tomorrow.

As I have stated before I'm a Canadian who has donated to Obama already by purchasing a T-Shirt.

Well my mother just got back from a vacation in Oregon - she went into an Obama campaign office and (besides donating) bought back a sign (the ones they hold up at rallies) a sticker & a badge!

Here's a great Canadian political ad:

That's neat. The closest I got to filling out a US ballot was helping my disabled friend stay within the lines as she filled out hers.

Here at UBC I saw a flyer today for a US Election Results party tomorrow night on campus. People are following this very closely, and I can't count the number of times I've been asked what I think about Obama.

Obviously the excitement this year is more than usual, but in 2004, when I was still living in Edinburgh, my Greek flatmate stayed up all night just to watch the Bush/Kerry results, long after I had gone to bed. A few days ago when I updated my Facebook status to say that I had voted, one of my French friends immediately responded "The world is watching!."

If things work out tomorrow, the feeling of celebration is going to be tremendous, and it's going to spread far beyond the US borders.

I'm Canadian and have been following Obama since early 2007. The cover of the Georgia Straight (Vancouver equivalent of The Stranger) features an article on Obama and what his victory will mean for Canada. Also, working as a waitress at a popular restaurant, I've noticed people coming in wearing Obama pins/shirts, and upon inquiry, found out they were Canadian! The whole world is watching...

Good to see that Obama is earning his keep among the young and hip by creating bonding activities that help Brian get laid.

When Obama is sworn in, we'll actually have a better leader than Canada for once! Harper sux.
