I’ve Said It Before

posted by on November 6 at 12:47 PM

But let me say it again:

If Great Granddaddy “Fell Off His Dinosaur And Broke His Wooden Underwear” McCain drops dead of old age and/or neck cancer and/or gaping-vacuum-where-his-soul-should-be-itis in, say, February, HOW HARD ARE ALL OF YOU MCCAIN VOTERS GOING TO PUNCH YOURSELVES IN THE FACE!?

Yikes. I’m so glad we won.

If it happens Tina Fey will have to appear as Ms Palin to portray the virtual reality of a Palin presidency. "When they told me that president McCain had died, I realized I had a little shopping to do."

That picture says more than words ever could. Waking up every day to that cartoon of evil being the face of this country? What a nightmare.

I absolutely would have left. Like so many others, I had the plan ready to go. Nowhere would have been safe, but why have a ringside seat to the Apocalypse?

I'm only interested if I can help punch them.

Naw, they'll just blame it on a librul-commie conspiracy to prevent McSame from running again in 2012.

Can't she be just a footnote?

I won't punch them in the face.

I'll be sad that he died, actually.

While his last few years were a betrayal of who he was in 2000, the guy, even if a bad choice for Pres, at times served very honorably.

Few have gone into the nightmares he had and come out whole on the other end, even with his drinking, wife-ditching, and mistresses.

All the dirt now emerging from behind the scenes of the McCain campaign serves as sobering evidence of precisely the caliber of bullet America dodged on Tuesday.

I mentioned this to my McCain-supporting boyfriend (who luckily for us, didn't even VOTE.) on election night after Obama won. I said "just watch, McCain is gonna die in less than 2 years and you'll be glad about tonight." (he was sulking, LOL)

That's what was making me feel sick and scared all last week. I was literally terrified at the thought of Palin as President. Not the website, the horrid possibility. What kind of Supreme Court justices do you think would meet with Bible Spice's approval?

*shudder*

Also, keep an eye on McCain as he does not die but his health and mental stability continue to deteriorate over the next year or two, and be glad we dodged that bullet too. Also.

Actually, I was wondering how many of the McCain supporters (particularly the ones who became supporters because of Palin) are saying right now "Wait, Africa isn't a country?"

Yes, we dodged quite a scary bullet--and Tina Fey doesn't have to "leave Earth" like she threatened to.

How about Obama offer McCain a (minor) cabinet position just to see his head explode when it overloads with bipartisanship overload?

Next question--how many Supreme Court Justices are looking at their retirement portfolios?

I think McCain voters would have liked her as president, she follows his platform of being white and socializing ovaries pretty well rite?

@8

Why in God's name does any woman sleep with/marry /date assholes who are either clueless or willfully ignorant? Someone please explain how liberals end up with right-wing nutcases.

If Lindy West realizes how insensitive and ultimately counterproductive in terms of contributing to solutions for our actual problems her comment is, how silly will she feel?

@14, 8 million more women than men voted for Obama. Consider the gay man/woman ratio, and that means more than 8 million heterosexual women have to settle for a Spencer Pratt. :[

@12,

Ginsburg and Stevens for sure, so no net gain there. Obama better appoint very young justices in very good health this time around.

In two years, I will relish saying about Obama.. "Don't look at me, I didn't vote for him" as everyone is taxed beyond reason.

@18 - better than saying "don't look at me, i didn't vote for him (or her)" under a pile of radioactive rubble.

@18 - you mean like Reagan's 70 percent tax rate on millionaires?

Obama's is HALF that for millionaires.

(pin drops)
