I've never seen anything like it in my life. It was a wall of people dominating the street, cheering, chanting, celebrating, with a guy blowing on an actual Lord of The Rings style ram's horn to urge us on. All the fucking way to capitol hill. I will write more about these fantastic things I have seen tomorrow. For now my legs are sore, my feet have about 6 blisters each, and I'm going to bed.

He's human, he's going to make mistakes, he won't be able to accomplish everything he promised during the campaign (I mean, c'mon, he's a politician after all), but he's young, he's energetic, he's a natural-born leader, an intelligent, brilliant man, who got where he is on his own merit, a superb strategist who surrounds himself with talented, smart people, reasonable and cool-headed - which is exactly what we need in a commander-in-chief.
