How about a transcript or synopsis? I can't hear it at work, and I only have dial-up at home. *hiding my face in shame*

As I sit here in my office looking out at the grayness and stress-eating over election results, I was struck how it must be nice to know that what you do actually makes a difference in someone's life. I, on the other hand, am very efficient during the course of a work day at moving the pile of papers from the left side of my desk to the right side.

Well done Dan. Although I don't live in California, I did donate to the No on Prop 8 campaign and hope for the best.

Old Mama Chips: Basically the kid said he took Dan's advice and came out to his family. He had positive results from five of the six and hadn't heard from one uncle so was assuming he didn't want to talk to him. To paraphrase he said something like "fuck him, he only gave me $15 for graduation anyway." Also that his family was voting no on 8.

What is this bullshit where a politician seeking office can say "I'm not running on that, but..." when laying out his positions? Obviously the press has been cutting them way too much slack if they feel they can decline to discuss certain of their positions just by saying "I'm not running on that."

YES! All that time standing out on 16th and J waving "No On Prop 8" signs in the driving rain paid off! Let's kill this stupid proposition!
