Comments on Ewwwww... and Yay!

In my old neighborhood in Ann Arbor I used to go out periodically with one of my gardening tools to clear the drain when it got clogged. It gave me great satisfaction to watch the water finally drain. The end.

Do people need to ask why Elliot Bay is the dead zone it is? That sludge eventually finds its way into the Bay and the aquatic food chain. Alas poor Orcas we knew them well...

Adopt a drain! There are far more than the city can clear given the leaves and start of the rain.

Those bags of garbage are still at Broadway and Pike.

I'm really glad to hear about this. I am coming down from Vancouver this weekend and was really worried about it.
