You know what the difference is? Class. Fucking class.

John McCain, for all the bullshit he pulled during this campaign, had enough fucking class to deliver a gracious speech and celebrate the positive side of his opponent's victory.

Palin? It was nothing but tears for her. Why? No grace. No class. Not an ounce of fucking class in Sarah Palin.

Sarah Palin is the future of the Republican Party.

She's crying because she is finally free from McCain's sinking ship (that she helped sink, of course) and can now move on with her own plans.

As an aside, what I love is how the Republican Party seems to have become The Party That Boos. Classy.

Despite what we've seen in the last three months or so, I still believe that deep down in his core, McCain is a decent, honorable man with a long history of outstanding service to the country. I disagree completely with his politics, but I still feel that ultimately he was a man hijacked by the worst elements of his party into the lies, the smears, the fear-mongering, and incitement we witnessed.

Ultimately, I was shocked at how sympathetic and sorry I felt for him as he conceded... all those years, what happened in 2000, and this is how it ends. But Palin? Good riddance.

So from an ease of victory standpoint, should we be rooting for Palin or Romney in 2012?

Apparently Palin wanted to give her own concession speech, but was vetoed by McCain's campaign staff. The tell-all books out of this campaign should make for great reading.
