A friend of mine lives about two blocks from Obama's place in Hyde Park. A couple of weeks ago, we were able to walk right up to the place and take pictures. The Secret Service were actually very friendly. It may have been because three white girls with a wiener dog are not high on the list of suspicious characters, but still.

That Bears "game" was suck ass. However, rejoice that you're not a Seahawks fans, and the Sex Cannon came through in the clutch with a Hutchinson-esque performance. Oh yeah, election shit - who's ready to "Barack out w/ their cock out" this Wednesday? I took the day off in anticipation of my full-body hangover.

I haven't actually tried to take pictures of his house yet, even though I live in Hyde Park, three blocks one way and three blocks another. Definately going to the rally. Probably going straight from the airport. God I can't wait to see him elected.

I can't wait to go to the rally. It's going to be chaos, but how could I miss out on it?

Thanks for the weather report. This is a good sign, as it was pouring rain in Boston during the Kerry/Edwards rally in 2004.

Hey, Julie, Jennifer and UC Student: can you recommend the best WIFI hotspot in Hyde Park? I know Jimmy's doesn't have wifi. Which cafe along 57th has the most outlets (my battery blows) and decent food/coffee?

This Seattle cyclist likes hills. You can keep your flat terrain!
