Something of a tangent: "Flowers for Algernon" was in The Science Fiction Hall of Fame, Volume One. It was a little bizarre seeing such good stories like that one and "Surface Tension" alongside stupid crap like "Born of Man and Woman" and "It's a Good Life" in an anthology that was supposedly all winners.
