Your Liz Lemon link is to the cancer report in the next piece.

@1 - That's because Borpo causes cancer.

Awesome clip... But I have always had trouble watching it because of the big globs of stick deodorant under LL's arms.

We need a comedian who can mimic Obama's Cosby-esque inflections while saying funny things. Whoever masters that will be our new Tina Fey.

The first concert I ever attended was LL at the Moore in 7th grade. An R&B band who I can't remember was supposed to open for him but couldn't make it for some reason. So LL took the stage and tore it up for 3 straight hours, just like in the video. Long live Cool James.

"Second greatest ever" - wow - so it's not just the Line Out writers there who have no clue - it's the whole staff, huh? Interesting.

Re: LL Cool J: Yeah, I just watched that clip for the hundredth time and it's just so fucking good. Re: his deodorant blobs: I read somewhere that when LL showed up at MTV for the taping, he noticed his pits were funky and sent out an intern for a stick of deodorant, which he then rolled up the whole way, broke off, broke in two, and wedged a chunk under each armpit. I can only applaud.

Also: There are times when one microphone simply won't suffice.

Also also: It kind of looks like he's getting a chubby midway through till the end, which isn't that surprising. LL Cool J has never made a secret of giving himself a boner.

7: How would getting out more expand my viewing of music clips?

David,
Between this and your Public Enemy shout outs, I think we have the exact same CD collection. When they drop in Hard to Handle it jumps to another level.

I can't believe that comedy article quoted Ted Rall. What an unfunny, sanctimonious douchebag.

I love Liz Lemon. And I have a *major lesbian crush on Alec Baldwin. I can't help myself.

*meaning I am the lesbian, not Alec

Is that the Baldwin that's moving to Alberta, or the one that's coming home from France, Lola?

My favorite part of 30 Rock last night was Liz in her Princess Leia costume talking in a nerdy voice. "Um, I don't think I should be on the jury because I can read minds."

You got it backwards, tenspeed.

The elevator scene was the funniest, I thought.

Getting out more in the cultural sense, sweetie.

(Note : it was just a snide comment. Don't actually try it. You'll most assuredly hurt yourself. Rather badly, I would imagine.)

What sucks is when I saw LL in LA a year later he lip synched the entire show. Unlike RUN-DMC (RIP JMJ), who straight killed the place.
