ALSO: Want some free Obama swag? Show up at our party with a donation for the White Center Food Bank and a local Obama fan will give you buttons, rally signs, and stickers according to your contribution. A can of food = one official Obama item of your choice. A jar of jelly or jam = two official Obama items of your choice. (Because food banks always have plenty of peanut butter, but apparently not enough jelly.) An entire bag of non-perishable groceries = something very special, I’m sure. (For your shopping list: items that are especially needed include the aforementioned jam and jelly, and also cereal, beans, rice, canned meat [everything but tuna], and dry goods such as Hamburger Helper and Rice a Roni.)

See you there!

In preparation for the election party I'm going to tomorrow, I'm headed to the store to buy a bunch of bottles of champagne. They'll be labeled Florida, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, Ohio, Missouri, and Indiana. I think each one of those states needs a proper celebration when it's called for Obama.

Please post a list of other parties. Would love to attend the Stranger's party, but can't get there until after 6 and am guessing it will be filled to capacity...

Speaking of other parties, is there a party for the 18-20 crowd? My little sister has just voted in her first Presidential election. I'd like her to celebrate with me. Any underage venue, I could go with her to watch the results?

I was thinking about going, but then I got discouraged by the prospect of drinking $5 Rainier in a huge venue with historically assholy security. Not to mention the potential of being stuck in the nasty buttcrack of downtown late at night if Obama loses.

So yeah, give us a list of alternative parties if you have one.
