You Are Looking at the Winner of Project Runway

After seeing the collections on this week’s episode, can anyone deny it? Leanne’s architectural math waves are the perfect distillation of her aesthetic while doing something that feels evolved and new. Kenley also delivered. The other two, not so much.

Counting the minutes till Leannimal’s impending triumph….

Her palette was to die for. See, World? The PacNW isn't all about grey and flannel.

The final runway collections have been out for a month at least, and Korto's was by far the best. I love Leanne, I think she's hot stuff and a good designer -- but I think she can be a little one-note, always with the noodles.

Agreed that Wednesday's gown was spectacular. So was Kenley's, aside from the little problem that it was a straight Alexander McQueen rip.

Wow, so Korto just choked on the wedding gown/bridesmaid component? Fascinating...

(And yes, I know I can Google the collections right now but I'm a purist and don't want to lay eyes on them until the proper finale.)

OMG, I can't wait to go home and watch this. Perfect way to spend a rhinovirus-infected Friday evening. I hope I remembered to finish the download.

Good picture of Leanne. She finally brushed her hair and put on a little make-up! I don't get why so many of the designers show up to their own runway shows looking like shit. WTF!

I don't care if Korto choked on the wedding dress, she is still fierce and, holy cow, did you see that bodacious ass when she was hailing a cab?

Leeann is a dream. I want to have coffee with her on a rainy afternoon in Portland. Kenley can still go suck a lemon, it would be an improvement to her rancid disposition.

Felt bad for Jerrel. He sure was gracious about his loss, though.

@ 5

did it ever occur to you that perhaps leanne didn't think she looked like shit? she's beautiful with or without makeup, and i don't think there's anything wrong with her hair.

try not to be so obnoxious.

Korto's ass is amazing.

Korto's ass makes "amazing" look sickly. It's bodacious. It encompasses the universe.

Jerrel's still the one I'd like to go drinking with.

Leanne is gorgeous, and she looks like Rita Tushingham in that picture, higher than which there is only one accolade ("like Julie Christie").

OK, but I'm a little uncertain about how often Leeann USES the wave shape. I hope she has a few other approaches going on throughout her collection.

Wow, that pic shows the the least-greasiest Leanne I've seen yet. Girl needs to shampoo more.

Leanimal is the most crush-worthy PR likely-champion of all time. Plus, she got Tim Gunn on a tandem bike.

Leeann is a greasy waif

Jerrell's a sweetie and grew into my underdog favorite after Lady Leathuh got the boot. But the one I'd most want to go drinking with is Kenley. All I'd have to do is bet her a quarter that she doesn't have the balls to punch the bouncer in the face and we'd be off...I imagine she'd do a fair job holding her own in a basement dog fight.

Ha... Kenley should go out with slog commenter "bob," then.

Josh is correct. Just looking at her makes ME greasy. Well, damp at least. I'd definitely ride her bike to the park and back, if you catch my drift (and I think you do).

She looks like Rita Tushingham, which is a complement.

Oh Fnarf @16, just because it was your birthday recently doesn't mean you have to be a dirty old man. Actually...I guess it does. You wear it well, my friend.

I would definitely go drinking with Lady Leathuh first, you know she's got NYC wrapped up. Plus, I bet she knows where to get good weed.

I pretty much loved this PR season. It ended up being my favorite to date. Good characters, and some fun design.

I've been a dirty old man since I was 12. I'm just letting the filthy beast out for a little air these days.

My mind, that is.

Fnarf,

I realize that interaction with women is probably pretty limited down there in your mom's basement, but the girl is cute, not "gorgeous".

Try to keep some perspective. Thanks.

I'm a happily married man, A Non. I have my own basement.

Almost all of the contestants on the show look like shit, and I guess that's ok, but when they are doing your first runway show... at Bryant Park, maybe they should wear something attractive, fix their hair and put on some make-up. Why would I want to buy clothing from any of them if they dress like crap?

And yes, Leanne is cute, but you would have never known it all season by the way she dressed and didn't do her hair. This picture is the first time she's ever looked attractive.

@1:the world hasnt seen the PNW as grey and flannel since the 90s. her work is COMPLETELY stereotypical for the region, to a laughable degree. anyone smart enough to watch this show with any discerning eye knows that.

@2:yes korto is indeed the strongest.

@5: leannes look is perfect. slightly disheveled and adorable.

@6:kortos ass is god. jerrel should have WON THIS ENTIRE THING-he dropped the fucking ball with this last collection.
and Kenley isnt as annoying when the other ones gang up on her. any kind of mob mentality sucks. they make it very hard to hate her.

@18: Lady Leathuh forevuh

i forgot....

that is easily the worst photo of her i've ever seen. she's best looking when kind of greasy and tussled, like she just rolled out of bed onto your lap.

but this photo makes me want to slap her. she looks like a stupid cunt.

@16: Wow, you're kind of digging yourself a big hole there, aren't you?

The better to look up at you from, my darling. You know I speak rhetorically. I've never begrudged you your Maks Chmerkovskiy, have I?

I pretty much hated Jerrell's wedding dress. I was prepared to be upset with booting one of them off, but I think they made the right choice.

Oh, and the visit to Korto's home was the best... she and her daughter and her drumming are awesome, and she looks totally fabulous. Why I did not notice this during the rest of the season, I don't know.

You gotta love our geeky PNW indie-fashion girl. She's probably hanging out with Colin Meloy and friends as we speak.

Her stuff is cool, but she's no Christian Siriano.

Does anyone know where any Finale parties are?

Also, I actually think it's worse when a designer looks completely put together all the time on PR. Think about how hard they're working and how little they're sleeping! You'd have to be pretty vain (like fierce Christian vain) to lose an hour of sleep to get up early and do your hair and makeup. So please forgive the lovely Leanne for trying to get a little more sleep every night.
