It is sometimes strange to me that humans have such a powerful ability to find cuteness in non-human creatures. I suppose that the features that we find cute in human babies are paralleled in other mammal species (since those other species depend on mothers caring for their young.)

But that doesn't explain why honeybees are cute and other insects are not.
