This Is What Globalization Looks Like, Part 134

posted by on October 19 at 15:26 PM

From Friedman’s column in yesterday’s NYT:

Some mortgage broker in Los Angeles gives subprime “liar loans” to people who have no credit ratings so they can buy homes in Southern California. Those flimsy mortgages get globalized through the global banking system and, when they go sour, they eventually prompt banks to stop lending, fearful that every other bank’s assets are toxic, too. The credit crunch hits Iceland, which went on its own binge. Meanwhile, the police department of Northumbria, England, had invested some of its extra cash in Iceland, and, now that those accounts are frozen, it may have to reduce street patrols this weekend.

Shorter Friedman: Who cares what the train of panics and bubbles does to your pathetic little life? Global capitalism wants more! Needs more!

shorter mr. e: waaaaaaaaa.

Glbztn. has been around oh since they first invented the chariot and all the chariot-driving warriors groups swept over all others in all of the Indo Aryan world. THat'd be India to England, folks. Then there was this Roman empire thing? And then trade with the East, slavery and stuff like that? So it's always been a globalized world.

The issue is it presents opportunities like all of us being more aware and caring about Darfur and threats like terrorists who use the internet and hope like millions of former peasants having access to the same flat world of info and trade as you and me.

If too overwhelming, just go waaaaaa.

Never leaving it alone.
All day and all night.
Romancing the stone.

Help, my name is Eddie Grant.

I just got caught in a time funnel from the 80s.

Darcy Hudgens, VP of bag maker of Port Angeles, WA and her mother Susan Hudgens (Unemployed smear merchant of called SusanUnPC) also of Port Angeles, WA have been in cahoots to pump up the sales at Tom Bihn’s online store by advertising Tom Bihn’s products at the blog without letting anyone know that they are mother and daughter and that the pitches that SusanUnPC was making for were not simply based on liking the products but for both of their benefits. is Larry C. Johnson’s hate blog that functions as a clearing house and sometimes originator of false smears, libel and racist attacks against Barack Obama — Democratic Party Presidential Nominee.

While Susan Hudgens has been working with her daughter to make money off her hate and smears, she has also been telling the government that she is permanently disabled and cannot work.

The good people of Port Angeles and Seattle need to know what TomBihn really stands for and how exactly their customer’s money is being used to subsidize hate and smears on the Internet.

This is not the first time that Tom Bihn has tried to use notierity to advance his merchandise sales. In 2004 he was forced to apologize for placing the following message (in french) inside his washing labels:

“NOUS SOMMES DESOLES QUE NOTRE PRESIDENT SOIT UN IDIOT. NOUS N’AVONS PAS VOTE POUR LUI.” Translated, the message reads, “‘We are sorry that our president is an idiot. We didn’t vote for him.’”

Here is a picture of Susan Hudgens for those who know her or recognize her and can furnish more information. She is the dour looking middle aged (bitter?) white woman.

You can contact Susan Hudgens (SusanUnPC) at:
Port Angeles WA

You can contact Darcy Hudgens at:
1-800-729-9607 or 206-652-4123
108 W 1ST ST

To contact Tom Bihn:

The Obama campaign has setup an anti smear website to combat these false and hateful smears by people like Larry Johnson and Susan Hudgens. The new information that a commercial entity ( is coordinating with the smears makes TomBihn a “deep pocket” for libel lawsuit purposes.

Please, no more Friedman excerpts or links. Even when he has a good idea now and then--and this is not one of those occasions--he's so fucking smug he might as well be David Horsey.

I could give a small crap about PC and all that, as I've learned to spot her posts quickly and move on, but those Tom Bihn bags are the ugliest things I've ever seen.

We won't support spine-less NO-Bama and will re-defeat him in November !! Go Hillary 2012 !!

So TomBihn was anti-Bush, and now is anti-Obama? That's an odd reversal.
